About Brian Poe

Brian Poe serves as the Founder and CEO of EAS Technologies, the first and largest online expunging and clemency service. Poe is directly responsible for helping thousands of people clear their name off criminal record databases. Recognizing employment placement as the number one need for those with a record, Poe founded the free, nationwide job placement organization Hard2Hire, a nonprofit organization that matches ex-offenders with felony and misdemeanor-friendly employers. Among the most widely recognized expungement and clemency experts in the world, Poe is a passionate advocate for reducing recidivism via employment opportunities. He is the author and co-author of several articles on the subject. His book, “A Guide to Expungements and Pardons,” is widely used as a key reference source. Prior to launching his businesses, Brian Poe was enlisted in the United States Navy, where he was honored with the title of Sailor of the Year of Civil Engineering and Sailor of the Quarter of COMNAVBASE. Unable to attend the Naval Academy due to active duty injuries, he was processed out of the military with an honorable discharge and recognized as a wartime veteran. After his honorable discharge from the military, Brian Poe entered Transylvania University, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. Brian Poe is not only an advocate for equal opportunity; he is deeply committed to his community and donates his time, energy, and funds to many local and national charities and organizations. Brian is an affiliated supporter of the National Legal Aid & Defender Association, Kentucky Hispanic Association, NAACP Legal Defense Fund, National Urban League, American Cancer Society, Big Brother Big Sisters of America, and various ex-offender programs across the United States. Poe also founded Kids Helping Kids, a children’s organization for which he built a baseball field and provided teams for children who cannot afford recreational league fees.
